PROTTYASHI will
inclusively focus on the young generation, i.e., the youth and adolescents, to
ensure they have the agency, rights, skills, tools, influence, and
opportunities to pursue their life goals, live a decent life, support families,
and contribute to the development of their communities and the country.
PROTTYASHI undertakes the following approach:
Access and
Development: Enabling
youth and adolescents to access high-quality information, safe services, and
livelihood opportunities while building the skills, tools, and inputs they need
to lead healthy, productive, and engaged lives. In this process, PROTTYASHI
will establish skill development centres in the areas where it is needed
through a rigorous market assessment along with expanding its services through
its specialized institute named as PROTTYASHI Institute of Technology which is
already operationalized.
Participation and
Decision-Making:
Increasing youths and adolescents’ participation in decision-making at
individual, household, community, and national levels to develop them as a
driving force of decision making, policy formulation and development.
Youth Leadership: Nurturing youth leadership through
capacity building in soft and life skills. PROTTYASHI keeps continuing its
effort to excel on life skill resources and also partnering with the Bangladesh
Technical Education Board (BTEB) and National Skills Development Authority
(NSDA) to enhance collaboration and participation to develop marketable skills
among the aspirant youths to get best out of the population dividend.
Integration and
Protection: Integrating
youth-focused elements to ensure they are well-protected and better served by
local and national systems, including skills development, entrepreneurship
opportunities in an inclusive manner in a safe environment.
